sparta youth wrestling

Open to both boys and girls of all experience levels, youth wrestling introduces kids to a fast-paced, engaging sport that emphasizes learning the fundamentals, staying active, and having fun on the mat. Wrestlers build skills and confidence while forming friendships in a supportive team environment.

The program is offered in the beginning of January through March each year. Wrestling has many positive social, emotional, and physical benefits that help children become well-rounded, successful people today and throughout their life. Girls and boys will build new friendships, and improve physical and mental well-being while having fun with friends. Wrestlers will have the option to attend tournaments as a team during the season, but is is not required. Parents are responsible for any additional tournament registrations and fees during the season.

Registration takes place through Sparta Parks and Recreation.
