Coaches Corner

To all Sparta fans, alumni, parents, and wrestlers:

I would like to congratulate our wrestlers for there great win last night against Holmen.  It was a match that every coach would like to be a part of.  I am very proud of our wrestlers, nice job!  It was nice to see a full gym loaded with Sparta fans.  It was the kind of duel meet that is very fun and exciting to watch.  I would also like to thank the VFW for having a wonderful social after the wrestling meet in honor of Roy Welker.  He was a long time Sparta fan and we will miss him.  

We are off to wrestle a tournament at West Allis and we are going to see some very good teams.  It will be our first individual tournament and I am excited to see how well the guys do.  Go Sparta!
