JV crowns six champions at Dells Duals JV Tournament
Spartans Vince Polhamus, Cole Clark, Sam Forbes, Mathias Krein, Cole Wisniewski and Jack Ruedy all went 3-0 on the day to finish 1st at the 2016 Dells Duals JV Tournament.In the 103-110 pound bracket, the next generation of Polhamus to don the Spartan singlet, Vince picked up first period pins in each of his matches including a 31 second pin against Ethan Mittelstadt of Lomira.Equally dominant was Cole Clark wrestling in the 136-137 pound bracket. Clark picked up pins in 2:49 and 1:45 as well as a 15-0 technical fall victory. Sam Forbes gave up just one point all day en route to his championship, which included 12-0 and 5-0 victories topped off with a 6-1 win in sudden victory overtime.Mathias Krein picked up pins in 1:24 and 0:56 to go along with a 15-0 technical fall victory to bring home the 149-151 pound championship while Cole Wisniewski won the 154-156 pound bracket with pins in 0:48 and 0:52 to go along with a 12-o victory. Rounding out Spartan's champions was Jack Ruedy winning the 184-189 bracket with two pins in 1:31 and 1:14.
