Best Day Ever 10K slated for Saturday, November 14th
Come out and have the best day ever by running a 10K in memory of Joel Konze--a Spartan alum and long-time supporter of Spartan wrestling. Details about the race are below...
- When: Saturday, November 14th beginning at 8am
- Where: Start and finish will be at the Longbranch Bar and Restaurant at 7509 Carmel Avenue, Cataract, Wisc.
- Entry fee? The registration fee is $20 and includes a long-sleeve t-shirt.
- How do I enter? To guarantee a shirt, please register by October 29th by going here... http://www.eventbrite.com/e/joel-konze-best-day-ever-10k-runwalk-registration-19009229116. Same-day registration is fine, but does not guarantee a shirt.
You can also pick up your shirt at the Sparta Area School that you select when registering Thursday, November 12th, or Friday, November 13th from 7:30am-3:30pm or at the event on Saturday, November 14th from 7:00am-7:45am.If you are unable to attend, but would still like to honor Joel with a donation please feel free to register and get your own t-shirt or donate your t-shirt to students in need within the Sparta School District. Choose a t-shirt size and then under "Choose a location to pick-up," select "Donate the youth or adult size shirt selected to a student in need."The race is a 10K route with a 5K turnaround and 2 mile walk turnaround. ALL ARE WELCOME! Run/walk the distance you are comfortable with to honor Joel. Money will be used for the Joel Konze Scholarship Fund.***Five people who have pre-registered and present at start of event will be randomly drawn to receive $10 gift certificates to The Longbranch.
