13 Spartan wrestlers competed at the Wisconsin Challenge Series State Tournament this past Saturday. The Challenge Series is set up to provide State type competition for future varsity wrestlers. Sparta finished 9th out of the 111 teams competing. Mathias Krein led the Spartans with a 3rd place finish at 132. Mathias was 4-1 on the day, suffering only a 4-2 loss to eventual champion Nick Arnold from Kaukauna.
